§ 12-6. Licensing of the Jesse H. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts.

  • License fees for occupancy of the Jesse H. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts are stated for this provision in the city fee schedule.

    On August 1 of each year, the rates shall increase by an amount equal to the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index - All Urban Consumers for Houston-Galveston (CPI-U) for the preceding calendar year, provided that (I) if the CPI-U has not increased or if the amount of the percentage increase is less than one percent, then the license fees shall nevertheless be increased by one percent, and (ii) further provided that if the CPI-U has increased by more than three percent, then the license fees shall nevertheless be increased by only three percent. The director shall annually calculate the effective license fees and make them available in his office upon request for public inspection. Each license agreement shall be subject to the license fees that are in effect at the time of the execution of the license.
