§ 14-56. Generally.

The commission shall, in cooperation with the mayor and council, have a classification plan which shall provide for the use of standard titles for all classes of positions in the classified service and a written job description for each classification which will describe duties and responsibilities and set forth minimum requirements necessary for the successful performance of the task involved in each classification.
