§ 35-6. Credit against fines—Generally.

Each prisoner committed to the city jail or to the municipal prison farm for nonpayment of the fine arising out of his conviction of a misdemeanor in the municipal courts shall receive a credit against such fine of $15.00 for each day or fraction of a day that he has served.
