§ 45-201. Motor vehicle compounds.

The city council shall establish and maintain one or more vehicle compounds to which all motor vehicles removed from the public streets, alleys, sidewalks and public ways, as provided in this article, shall be immediately taken and stored for protective custody. The motor vehicle compounds so established shall remain open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and an attendant shall be on duty at the compound at all times. Such attendants and such compounds shall be under the supervision and direction of the chief of police.
