§ 9-225. Issuance; hazard zoning.

(a)

Permits required by this division shall be issued by the director upon compliance by the applicant with all provisions of this article. No permit shall be issued by the director to carry on any operations or construct or locate any structures contrary to the provisions of section 9-262 of this Code.

(b)

The provisions of this article shall not be construed to modify, repeal or supersede any applicable provision of *Ordinance 63-2026 adopted December 20, 1963, as amended, relating to zoning for the airport hazard area at IAH. To the extent that any proposed kind use or improvement is governed by both this article, and such ordinance, then permits shall be required under both.
