§ 9-316. Landings and takeoffs prohibited.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to take off or land any helicopter or aircraft within the city at any point, except at the following locations:

(1)

An airport; or

(2)

A heliport or helistop that holds a valid license or special permit under this article.

(b)

It shall be an affirmative defense to any prosecution under this section that the landing or takeoff prohibited by this section shall have occurred at a facility exempt under section 9-318 of this Code or as part of a medical evacuation or an emergency operation.
