§ 5-71. Required.

(a)

It is unlawful to conduct any public dance or teenage dance within the limits of the city, unless and until the dance hall has been issued a license pursuant to this division; provided, however, this section shall not apply to a facility or dance prescribed in section 5-59 of this Code.

(b)

It is unlawful for any person to dance at any unlicensed dance hall. The owner, proprietor or operator of an unlicensed dance hall who suffers or permits any person to dance therein shall be deemed to have violated this article.
